My project seemed easy, but that wasn't the case. My wife and I live in stormy Portland, Oregon, where rain is more typical than bikes. Which is why us residents of the rain need all the assistance we can get when it comes to protecting our stuff from unceasing rain. Personally, I have a motorcycle, a go-cart, and a lawn mower sitting next to my home with no protection. To preserve them I cover them all with custom fabric custom made houseboat covers to keep the water out, so my cool toys can last longer.

These covers do a great job at keeping possessions in good shape, and they are more pliable than an awning. And all those things can't fit underneath my patio area. It's quite simple for me to take them anywhere.
I'm happy my valuables has a method to stand the rain. I just wish there was something for me.
